Injecting registry value at load
Hi,
I'm near visually disabled, white backgrounds blind me.
I'm running an E2B key to load macrium reflect V10.0.8406 winPE but it is in light mode (Nowhere I see a way to put in dark mode) so I wish to set the environment in either dark or hight contrast mode by setting registry keys, is there a way to do that ?

Well, the first thing to do is try some registry entries using the reg command.
Or maybe using a .reg file if that will work under the macrium winpe.

and see if those registry commands work. OR try other Google searches. WinPE is not the same as full Windows however...
Also, it should also be simple to change the Desktop background to a different graphic or plain colour if that would help.
Once you have some registry changes which seem to work. You can add them in a variety of ways.
Ask here again once you have it working.
I would need to know more precise details for any specific help (e.g. win10? win11? 32-bit? 64-bit? legacy and UEFI booting?) - preferably a download link to the exact WinPE ISO you are using.
I've tried plug injection & VentoAutoRun.bat with no luck : landing in windows leaves me with a blank desktop. No macrium loading, nothing than screen turning black for a few seconds when I hit a keyboard key then back to blank desktop. I guess I've missed something.
I've also tried a reg file with :

I'm wondering if the shortcut to hight contrast does work... I have to try with a standard keybord...

Problem solved : no switching with the (standard keyboard) shortcut. I guess the personalisation windows part is unavailable in winPE.
If the software doesn't provide theming, users like me are §¤@#&ed. I have to find some macrium replacement. Acronis is out, I have to test minitools and basic ones like aomei, easeus, etc...
