E2B supports all official Ventoy versions!

The latest Beta version of agFM allows us to replace Partition 2 (which normally contains agFM\grubfm and a modified old version of Ventoy) with a partition image (32MB FAT16) containing any unmodified version of Ventoy.

If a new version of Ventoy is released tomorrow, you can simply create a new partition image file in a minute.
