WBEM/WMIC missing error when running .cmd files or Make_E2B.exe under Windows 11
PLEASE NOTE: Windows 11 2026 H1 now has the WMIC component removed and so you must use an older version of Windows 11 (or have previously installed WMIC). The current E2B installer and tools will not work on a fresh install of Windows 11 2026 H1 or later version.
A new Windows 11 installation may not include the WMIC utility by default. See here
Add WMIC using: Windows 11 – Settings (Winkey+I) – Apps – Optional Features – View Features – WMIC – Install
A Windows restart/reboot may be required after installing WMIC.
